DOM LEADS PACK FOR FUNDRAISING IN DISTRICT 21 RACE – ANNOUNCES FIRST SLATE OF ENDORSEMENTS

FIRST FINANCE REPORT SHOWS GROWING MOMENTUM AND SUPPORT BEHIND CAMPAIGN

[MERIDIAN, IDAHO, February 2022] – Republican Dom Gelsomino is touting the early support of several business leaders as well as both current and former elected officials. Dom also started off with a fundraising lead in the GOP field seeking one of two open House seats in the newly drawn Legislative District 21, campaign finance reports show.
In total, Dom has raised $5,000 for the month of January 2022 since announcing his intention to run, according to the reports on the Secretary of State’s Website.
 
“Idahoans from all across the district and state are contributing to the momentum around the experienced choice for District 21, and that’s why you’re seeing us in the lead,” Dom said in a statement. “I am incredibly grateful and humbled by not only the trust and support they’ve extended, but by the human connection made with each new person we’ve had the privilege to meet and speak with.”
 
Candidates for the Legislature in the 2022 elections have a Thursday deadline to file the latest monthly campaign finance disclosures with the Idaho Secretary of State. The newly drawn 21st District covers a majority of Meridian – with downtown at its heart – reaching from the Canyon/Ada County line and extending out to the Cloverdale Rd/Victory Rd intersection.
